Full payment is preferred and secures Domino right away. Paying in full also gives you first priority on transport scheduling. If you need more time, a down payment of $2,750 (half the price) is accepted, and the balance is due within 2 months, before shipping. To hold her, a $1,000 non-refundable reservation fee keeps her off the market for 2 months and is credited toward the $5,500 price. If the balance isn't paid and shipping isn't arranged within those 2 months, the reservation is void, the fee is forfeited, and she goes back on the market. Delays caused on our end, such as transport scheduling or weather, do not count against the buyer's 2-month window.

Documentation you should expect

Depending on the animal and where it's going, a Highland cattle sale typically involves some combination of the following. Ask your seller which ones apply to your purchase.

Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI), also called a health certificate, issued by an accredited veterinarian for animals crossing state lines.
Registry transfer paperwork for the animal's registry (AHCA, HHCA, or Highland Cattle Society), where applicable.
A signed bill of sale documenting the animal, agreed price, and terms.
State brand inspection certificate, where the animal's home state requires one before sale or transport.
For international imports only: an import permit and entry health certificate. Most domestic sales do not require this.
